Our Principal Consultant is Paul Tolan, one of the most consistently successful CEOs in UK Medtech. After working in the NHS as a Clinical Biochemist, Paul started his career in sales in Roche in 1987, rising quickly to become National Sales Manager there at the age of 29, and picking up Roche's "World's Best Salesperson" award along the way. Moving to BioMen as General Manager in 1992, Paul was, and remains the youngest ever GM in the Menarini group. After an MBA at Henley Business School, Paul was promoted to Managing Director of Menarini in 1999 and has grown the UK company from almost zero to a turnover of $50 million, with consistent sales growth in every year for the last 30 years. As well as his own expertise in Strategy, Marketing, Sales Management and General Management, Paul also manages the input of other expert consultants, especially in the areas of Regulatory Affairs, Product Safety and Quality Management, as required for individual projects.
